Governor Murphy Expands Community Solar
In response to the skyrocketing price of electricity, today Governor Murphy signed into law S4530/A5768 which directs the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJ BPU) to open up an additional 3GW of Community Solar in the Garden State. While the details will not be in place until October 1st, the expansion of the Community Solar program breathes new life into the commercial solar market in New Jersey while simultaneously offering rate payers an off ramp to the continuing spiral of electric costs in NJ. Commercial property owners now have another option to monetize their unused rooftops while helping the environment. Contact us today to get started.
